Living a Purposeful Life

Feb 27
1 min read

Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:9-11, issue 002 of biblical insights weekly explores Paul’s driving conviction for purposeful living: a sober, hope-filled awareness that we will one day stand before Christ, not to be condemned, but to give an account of our stewardship and to receive what is due for how we lived.

The realisation that Stewardship is bigger than “church work”. We often limit stewardship to ministry roles, yet Scripture widens the lens. This issue speaks to stewardship in every space God has entrusted to us:

  • the corporate marketplace and business decisions

  • the church and our service to the body

  • the family and the daily responsibilities we carry

  • the “ordinary” assignments where faithfulness is often most tested

You also get to see how a quiet life can disguise fear and can be a common barrier to purpose: fear! The kind that looks like a “quiet, safe life,” but is actually a slow withdrawal from calling. We are being called back to faithful obedience even under pressure, temptation, uncertainty, and challenge.

This issue will help us understand the misconception about reward which many assume Christ’s evaluation is reserved for people with visible platforms and church titles. What would it be about, one might ask?

Be sure to find out. Download this weeks issue below and be blessed.
